Staff Qualifications We realize that our staff is our most important asset. We work hard to hire the most qualified and caring individuals, and help them keep up to date with new advances in the field. All Staff . . . Must have a pre-employment health assessment which is updated annually. Must have a Child Abuse clearance and a Criminal History Record check. Must have letters of recommendation from non-family sources. Must have training in child abuse recognition and prevention. Must be certified in Pediatric First Aid, Fire Safety and Common Illnesses. Must be trained annually in Child Observation to help them determine each child's individual needs. Must complete additional hours of professional training beyond that required by law.
